Sheila: Complex natural toothpaste Gentle whitening Biomed

Sheila: Complex natural toothpaste Gentle whitening Biomed

“What a disgusting thing this jellied fish of yours is”

From the film “The Irony of Fate or Enjoy Your Bath”

Greetings to all lovers (and professionals!) of natural cosmetics! Following on from the favorably received first review, I hasten to write a second one, tenaciously holding the fleeing muse by the tail (that is, the hem of the tunic)

First, a little history. A long time ago I had a favorite pasta from Grandma Agafya, lingonberry, I think. I really liked its taste and cleaning ability. But it’s been almost a year now that I haven’t been able to see it in stores.

This was written so that my complaints against the culprit, so to speak, of the celebration, i.e., would become clear. review.

Not frightened by the inscriptions on the fence, where what is also written and especially drawn often does not coincide with what is behind them, I bought into the coconut shown on the label, and with dreams of the unforgettable taste of the new toothpaste, I purchased Biomed.

But let's look at everything point by point.

The beautiful cardboard packaging looks like this from all sides:

There are several nice eco-icons on it:

Full lineup presented:

Of which one ingredient did not pass strict testing:

The tube itself looks like this:

It is protected with foil:

Paste color: uniform white.

The consistency is usual for toothpastes: homogeneous, thick.

The foaming is not great, but sufficient to clean the entire oral cavity. I'm used to brushing my teeth with a small amount of toothpaste (about the size of a pea), rather than squeezing out the entire tube.

The consumption is quite economical - after 4 weeks of use in the morning and evening, I used up half the tube.

And let's get to the most interesting part

Smell: subtle coconut aroma, but it reminds me more of some kind of medical smell. Not strong, light, but medical

And finally:

“This is not a fish you have... not a jellied fish... there’s not enough horseradish for it”

Taste. I probably don’t understand anything about sausage skins, that is, about coconuts, but for me the taste of this paste does not even remotely resemble coconut. Rather, every time I brush my teeth, it seems to me that I am at a dentist’s appointment, and he is treating my oral cavity with some kind of non-nuclear medical treatment. Or as if I were brushing my teeth with neutral soap. By the way, when analyzing the composition, I was surprised to discover that the paste still contains cinnamon and menthol, which I also don’t feel. I'm such a non-expert on coconuts!

Well, I really love mint-menthol flavors: toothpastes, lozenges, chewing gum, etc.

Apart from the taste, I have no complaints about the toothpaste: it cleans normally, although I didn’t notice any special whitening (claimed on the packaging), but here, apparently, there is a cumulative effect and you can’t accumulate it in 4 weeks. I also liked the fact that it is not very foamy - I don’t have to constantly, excuse the detail, spit out excess foam when brushing my teeth.

In general, I can recommend Biomed to those who are looking for a toothpaste with a neutral taste, but to those who, like me, based on the label, expect the aroma and taste of Rafael from this paste, under no circumstances take it!

I don't know if I will finish using this paste. It seems like a shame to throw it away, but I can’t get used to the taste of it... I’ll be looking for something mint-natural to replace it. I’ll use this paste to clean silver items. Or maybe you can tell me another way to use it?

Thank you for attention!

Biomed toothpaste: reviews from dentists - why are some doctors skeptical about this new brand, should customers succumb to advertising gimmicks?

The manufacturer presents these toothpastes as something perfect and environmentally friendly - they are supposedly able to clean the surface of the teeth in 30 seconds, do not contain harmful chemical components, and this paste lasts for protection for as long as 12 hours.

Tempting, isn't it? Nowadays there is a crisis, dental services are expensive, it is much better to spend 100-120 rubles on the perfect toothpaste, which is highly guaranteed to protect against caries.

To find out whether Biomed really is a panacea, it was decided to find out the opinions of dentists from the first two dental offices.

The young dentist Ilya Vlasov looked at the Biomed packaging with a smile for a very long time, and then began to tell:

“Firstly, today many toothpaste manufacturers have begun to actively fight fluoride as some kind of evil. However, the positive effects of fluoride on teeth have been proven for decades. Fluoride is especially necessary for children and adolescents, who are developing not only their teeth, but the entire skeleton as a whole. The use of Biomed paste is justified only if a person receives an excess of fluoride, for example, in your city the water is oversaturated with it (although this is not the case in Russia as a whole), or he regularly eats nuts, fruits, and spinach. Otherwise, I simply don’t see the point in abandoning this component.

Further. When brushing your teeth, the brush and the thoroughness of the procedure itself are crucial. Therefore, this figure of 30 seconds is purely a marketing ploy. If during this time you brush 3 teeth from different sides, the effect will be

. But just going over all the teeth...how can the paste by itself remove pieces of food, stuck-in sugar, fibers, etc.? What is this acid? Moreover, since Biomed assures that there are only natural ingredients.

Therefore, you can protect your teeth with a cheaper toothpaste with fluoride, but with a good brush and gentle but thorough brushing.”

Dentist Natalya Ostapenko had already heard a lot about this toothpaste, so she didn’t particularly consider the composition and line:

“This paste effectively relieves the symptoms of gum disease and eliminates wounds in the oral cavity. But, again, plant extract can promote healing, but it cannot always be used to eliminate the cause of the disease.

I've heard positive reviews from other dentists about her. But my opinion is that this product is only good for occasional use. A big plus is that the manufacturer makes several types for each type of teeth, for example, for soft whitening and sensitive enamel. Although the size of the abrasive is not indicated on the packaging.

And 30 seconds for cleaning, of course, is not enough. Ideally, brush longer with a soft brush, floss, rinse... but this applies to all toothpastes.”

Another review from a dentist from the forum:

“I bought it for myself and studied the line for a long time. The advantages are that there are different pastes Superwhite, Sensitive, Biocomplex, Propoline, Calcimax, but nothing is said about abrasiveness. You don’t feel anything on your teeth, but is there this abrasive in the paste at all? No fluoride is bad, although many young dentists have a different point of view.

For me, the paste is good for intermediate use.

. For example, I drank tea with some candy, went and cleaned it with Biomed, it doesn’t scratch the enamel. If you have eaten well, or are getting ready for bed, use a normal toothpaste with fluoride and the usual composition.

But in general, the product is interesting, the presence of extracts certainly will not harm the body.”

As you can see, doctors do not express any particular negativity towards the paste, but it is a fact that they exaggerate a lot in advertising. The main advantage is Biomed’s careful attitude towards enamel. Disadvantage: lack of fluoride.

Biomed White Complex toothpaste - reviews

Hello, I have been brushing my teeth with Biomed toothpaste for sensitive teeth for many years and am quite pleased with it. And my sister gave this paste to me immediately after purchasing it with the words “ugh, it’s black.” So, here is the hero of this review

⋆⋆⋆ PRICE ⋆⋆⋆ 100 rubles ⋆⋆⋆ VOLUME ⋆⋆⋆ 100 g ⋆⋆⋆ COMPOSITION ⋆⋆⋆

Aqua, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate. Dicalcium Phosphate Dihydrate, Hydrated Silica, Glycerin, Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Cellulose Gum, Aroma, Calcium Hydroxyapatite, Zinc Citrate, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Bicarbonate, Xanthan Gum, Carbon black, Menthyl Lactate, Xylitol, Cymbopogon Flexuosus Herb Oil , Mentha Piperita Oil, Ananas Sativus Fruit Extract, Maltodextrin, Cinnamomum Camphora Bark Oil, Cedrus Atlantica Bark Oil, Betula Alba Leaf Extract, Plantago Major Leaf Extract, Arginine, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Limonene, Citral.

The paste does not contain fluoride, parabens, sles, synthetic flavors and dyes.

⋆⋆⋆ INFORMATION FROM THE MANUFACTURER ⋆⋆⋆

The triple enamel whitening system is due to the content of three types of coal for intensive whitening. Three types of charcoal: bamboo, activated and charcoal, effectively remove plaque and whiten enamel. Active components - calcium hydroxyapatite and L-Arginine restore and strengthen tooth enamel. Bromelain breaks down plaque, zinc citrate provides fresh breath, and plantain and birch leaf extracts have a powerful anti-caries and anti-inflammatory effect.

⋆⋆⋆ COLOR, TASTE, APPLICATION ⋆⋆⋆

Well, let me start with the fact that it’s not black at all, but grey, we’ve seen it even blacker

It doesn’t foam much, the taste is pleasant, minty, but not hot, I love these. You can safely brush your teeth thoroughly without crying. You can't feel the coal particles, I was worried that they would scratch my teeth, but no, nothing like that.

Cleans well, like other Biomed pastes.

⋆⋆⋆ IMPRESSIONS FROM USE ⋆⋆⋆ I used the toothpaste for a month. Does not bleach. I have very sensitive teeth, which do not allow me to get carried away with whitening, but sometimes I use whitening pastes designed for sensitive teeth in small courses over a month or two. They won’t give you a Hollywood smile, but I have noticed many times that they clean the enamel to some natural shade. They simply remove excess yellowishness from the teeth, returning them to their natural color, like in childhood, before we started drinking a lot of tea, drinking coffee, wine or smoking. This paste did not even give that effect. But it didn’t affect the sensitivity in any way, which is good news. ⋆⋆⋆ CONCLUSION ⋆⋆⋆ Can be used as a regular toothpaste, without worrying about tooth sensitivity, but also without counting on whitening them

Advantages:

Good feeling of cleanliness and freshness

Flaws:

No bleaching

Good day! Today I want to share with you my impressions of Biomed White Complex toothpaste. But first things first. I bought this toothpaste in one of the Ukrainian cosmetics stores, namely in Eva, for how long they had a promotion. Since it contains activated carbon, I took it to whiten my teeth a little. I remind you that any toothpaste with a whitening effect should be used for only two to three weeks, more is strictly prohibited, because the teeth will be very sensitive to cold and hot. I used the toothpaste according to the instructions stated by the manufacturer, that is, I brushed my teeth for two minutes, twice a day, for two weeks. I didn't notice any results. Yes, there is a feeling of cleanliness in the mouth, fresh breath, but there is no teeth whitening. I’ll now try to take a break for a month, then try again to brush my teeth with this paste for two weeks.

Advantages:

I couldn't find it for myself.

Flaws:

Unpleasant sour taste, no feeling of freshness.

Hello, I always try to buy different toothpastes, but this time my experiment was unsuccessful. I purchased Biomed WHITE COMPLEX paste at the Fixprice store, price 77 rubles. Nice tube design, standard volume 100 grams. The manufacturer indicates that the paste contains 98% natural ingredients, cleans teeth in 30 seconds, and protects for up to 12 hours. Unfortunately, I didn't like this product at all. This paste does not clean my teeth even in 2-3 minutes, there is no feeling of cleanliness and freshness, it practically does not foam, and has a very unpleasant sourish taste. After using it, I feel like I forgot to brush my teeth.

Good Monday morning everyone!)))

How do I choose toothpaste? Which is the one I take on sale. Because I sincerely think that none of the budget toothpastes will cope with plaque and caries.

So this was the promotion in Dixie. I bought it with great pleasure, of course the packaging did its job.

The packaging is not used much) well, we tested it.

A little about the SPLAT company itself

SPLAT products are made from the best components from the world's leading manufacturers at our own modern eco-factory located in the ecologically clean region of Valdai. SPLAT production is organized according to the principle of environmental awareness (ISO 14001 certificate), complies with international standards of the quality management system (ISO 9001 and GMP Cosmetics), as well as the occupational health and safety management system (OHSAS 18001).

I have known about this company for a long time and my husband actively uses toothbrushes. We really like it, especially the super soft one.

Very interesting toothpaste color. Asphalt, the consistency is not thick but not liquid either. That is, it does not drip from the toothbrush. Which is another plus.

Minuses:

Doesn't freshen breath.

There is no feeling of a clean dental cavity.

For me, these are sufficient disadvantages for me not to buy any more.
